A WALL AS WITNESS

The construction of The Vietnam Veterans Memorial has been a ten year project to erect here in Southwest Florida, and we as VVA Chapter 594 are very proud of the sacrifice it represents. We are excited that this memorial adds to the memorial experience of the Veterans Parkway Bridge. Only by the blending of talents and resources were we capable of this accomplishment.

A special “Sponsor a Name” fund drive has been created to enlist financial monies for the Memorial. You as the Sponsor, choose the fallen soldier of choice from the 76 inscribed names on the memorial. As a name sponsor, your free gift will be a Limited Edition Poster of the memorial, (only 76 will be created), along with a graphite rubbing of your soldiers name taken directly from the memorial. A sponsorship of $1,000 or more will guarantee your participation in Southwest Florida history.

Please take the time to watch and enjoy this short video trailer about our Vietnam Veterans Memorial of Southwest Florida. The local production team of Video Biography LLC has generously created this one of a kind inspirational film. Watch as the memorial comes to life in this amazing and cinemagraphic documentary. We have accomplished a great deal, but much more needs to be done.

Our committed desire to inscribe the remaining panels of the memorial and complete the professional film documentary cannot be completed without your help. Almost all the financial support we need to continue our efforts comes from private donations like yours, and your gifts are tax deductible.

Your contribution to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (a 501c-3 entity) sustains the memorial in perpetuity and helps continue to educate our community about this memorial and the patriotism it portrays. We are fortunate to have constructed this memorial in representation of our five county areas and we invite you to become a part of this moment in time. Make your donations payable to:

Working together, it can be done.
